It uses S7 tool steel for the bolt carrier, front trunnion, and feed ramp, and features a threaded muzzle with an AKM-style slant compensator. It accepts standard double-stack AK magazines and comes with four 30-round magazines.
The VSKA was engineered to improve durability in a budget-friendly AK platform by specifying S7 tool steel where it matters most. Factory literature lists a 16.25-inch 4150 chrome-moly barrel; this rifle's recorded barrel length is 16.1 inches.
