What’s Included
- A. Uberti 1873 Cattleman .22 LR revolver
The revolver is configured in single-action only with a six-shot fluted cylinder and a 5.5-inch barrel. Chambered in .22 LR, it combines a traditional layout with a compact barrel length and classic handling characteristics.
Construction details include a color case-hardened frame paired with a blued barrel and cylinder. It is fitted with a one-piece reddish gloss wood grip, a steel trigger guard and backstrap, and a checkered hammer spur.
Sighting is via a fixed system with a blade front and topstrap groove rear. The right-side ejector-rod housing uses a crescent-style button, and the base pin is retained by a transverse spring-loaded latch.
Markings and origin are clearly defined: the barrel top is marked "TAYLOR'S & CO. WINCHESTER VA — A. UBERTI ITALY," the left barrel reads "MOD. 1873 CAL. 22LR.", and the frame bears a two-line 1871/1872 patent legend.
Italian proof marks are present on the frame and cylinder, including a boxed "CS" date code, with Taylor's & Co. import information. Manufactured in Italy by A. Uberti, this is a faithful reproduction.
