This Springfield Armory XD Mod.2 Sub-Compact in .45 ACP combines a compact footprint with Mod.2 ergonomics and proven XD safety features. It comes in very good condition with an excellent bore, includes both compact and extended magazines, and retains the factory Melonite-treated components and distinctive GRIP ZONE molded panels. Manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory U.S.A., it features clear slide markings and practical carry-ready sights.

The Mod.2 Sub-Compact frame uses GRIP ZONE molded panels to enhance purchase while maintaining a small profile suited to concealed carry. The striker-fired, locked-breech system pairs with a dual captive recoil spring on a full-length guide rod to manage .45 ACP recoil efficiently in a short-slide format.
Sight alignment is fast and clear thanks to the red fiber-optic front sight and a low-profile two-dot rear. Controls are practical and user-friendly, including an ambidextrous magazine release for left- or right-handed operation.
Safety features include a grip safety, trigger safety, loaded-chamber indicator, striker-status indicator, and an internal striker block. The steel barrel is hammer-forged and Melonite (nitride) treated, and the pistol carries a Melonite-finished exterior for wear and corrosion resistance.
A dust-cover accessory rail with one cross-slot accommodates compact weaponlights or lasers. Markings include XD-45 ACP, SUB-COMPACT, and Mod.2 on the slide, with import and proof markings of MADE IN CROATIA and SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A.
