The pistol employs the Modular Central Operating Group (COG), a removable serialized fire-control chassis that anchors the system. Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and a flat-faced trigger with a trigger safety. The receiver is stainless steel, and the frame uses aggressive texture with interchangeable backstraps for fit.
Factory steel iron sights consist of a single-dot front post and a square-notch rear blade. The slide includes Springfield's Variable Interface System (VIS) factory optics cut for direct optic mounting. An integral 1913 Picatinny accessory rail with five slots sits on the dust cover for light or laser attachment.
