The rifle is fitted with a custom Boyds laminated hardwood stock that adds rigidity and a distinctive multi-color finish. This stock includes a left QD sling socket, a front sling stud, a polymer grip-cap, polymer forend panels, and a Boyds-branded recoil pad with a bright metal spacer. Length of pull is set at 12.5 in.
The 22 in sporter-profile barrel is unthreaded and finished with a recessed crown. The barrel is marked "REMINGTON LAGRANGE, GA .308 WIN," aligning with the rifle’s U.S. manufacture. The matte black metal finish pairs cleanly with the laminated stock.
The Model 783 action uses a user-adjustable CrossFire trigger and feeds from detachable short-action magazines stamped "SHORT ACTION." Capacity is 4+1. Two magazines are included.
