Ergonomics are anchored by the aggressive M2.0 grip texture and the included interchangeable palmswell inserts, allowing quick fit adjustments. Controls include an ambidextrous slide stop, reversible magazine release, and a left-side takedown lever. An integral 3-slot Picatinny rail supports weapon-mounted accessories.
The flat-face trigger delivers a tactile and audible reset. The striker-fired, locked-breech action pairs with a 4.25 in stainless barrel (Armornite finish) cut with 1:10 RH rifling and 5 lands/grooves. The sight radius measures 6.5 in, contributing to a clean, repeatable sight picture.
Dimensions are well-balanced for a full-size duty pistol: 7.4 in overall length, 5.5 in height, and 1.16 in width. The slide is marked "SMITH & WESSON MARYVILLE, TN U.S.A." and the frame/slide bears the factory warning "CAUTION - CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED."
