The 2K11 Pro series is Kimber’s in-house, double-stack 1911-pattern family introduced for the 2025 model year. This Royal submodel pairs compact dimensions with a Commander-length 4.25 in barrel and a 19+1 capacity, offering a modern, high-capacity take on the 1911 format with single-action-only operation.
The slide is optics-ready with a 4-screw cover plate and a fixed rear sight mounted on the plate, complemented by a fiber-optic front blade. Muzzle relief cuts and an external extractor are integrated, and a true Picatinny accessory rail with four slots provides light or laser mounting options.
Both the frame and slide wear a bronze PVD finish over stainless steel for durability and a uniform appearance. A tool-less guide rod simplifies field service. The flat-faced, match-grade trigger and skeletonized hammer contribute to a crisp, familiar 1911-style trigger experience.
The Kevlar/carbon-fiber reinforced composite grip module includes an integrated magwell and a textured honeycomb pattern for positive control. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety round out the controls. This pistol is made in the USA and lists with a $2,499 MSRP.
