What's Included
- Ruger factory gray hard case with matching end label (Catalog KSRH-2454, Model 05301)
- Ruger Super Redhawk & Alaskan instruction manual
- Ruger factory envelope/card with rifling data (R.H. twist, 1 turn in 24)
- Crimson Trace rubber lasergrips (installed)
Built on Ruger’s reinforced Super Redhawk frame with an extended frame extension, the Alaskan configuration delivers notable strength in a compact format. The unfluted 6-shot cylinder and triple-locking mechanism contribute to secure lockup and durability under heavy .454 Casull loads, while also providing compatibility with .45 Colt.
The revolver is stainless steel throughout, with a uniform satin stainless finish on the frame, receiver, cylinder, and barrel. It operates in double-action/single-action and uses Ruger’s transfer-bar safety system. An external, checkered-spur hammer provides positive control.
Sighting equipment includes an adjustable rear and a green fiber-optic front. The factory-documented right-hand 1:24 twist is optimized for the cartridge’s typical bullet weights, and the included factory card confirms this rifling data. The case label matches this firearm, and documentation accompanies it.
This example is further outfitted with an aftermarket Crimson Trace rubber lasergrip that integrates a laser sight into the grip. The installation is clean and complements the iron sights, giving an additional aiming reference if desired.
