The receiver is a large-ring Mauser 98-type commercial action with controlled-round-feed and an integral recoil lug. A gas-relief hole is present on the left front ring. The receiver retains the standard M98 ejection port with a bolt-stop window; the bolt-stop assembly is absent.
The rear bridge is drilled and tapped for a scope base with two holes visible. The underside shows the magazine well cut, front and rear action screw bosses, and the trigger opening, matching the established M98 footprint.
Markings include the Interarms Alexandria, Virginia import stamp, a small "P" on the left lower front receiver lug, and an auxiliary "J010" stamp on the underside of the tang. These factory and import marks document its commercial origin and distribution.
