The SRP is built on a steel, Government-size 1911 platform with a 5-inch bushing barrel and GI-length guide rod. It uses a separate barrel bushing and a checkered recoil spring plug, and it retains a standard dust cover with no accessory rail. The slide and frame wear a uniform matte blue/black finish.
The National Match barrel is identified by its hood marking "BAER .45 N/M." The slide includes rear cocking serrations and a lowered ejection port. Sighting is handled by a dovetailed front blade with a single white dot and a low-mount, fully adjustable square-notch rear with two white dots.
Controls and ergonomics are set up for confident handling: a high-ride beavertail grip safety with memory pad, an extended single-sided (left) thumb safety, and an internal beveled magazine well. The front strap and flat mainspring housing are finely checkered, and the pistol is fitted with double-diamond checkered wood grips.
The fire-control group features a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized three-hole trigger. Capacity is 7+1 with the included single-stack magazines. This SRP is manufactured in the USA.
