The RO Elite Compact combines a compact Officer-length grip frame with a 4-inch slide to deliver a carry-friendly 1911 format in 9mm. The aluminum-alloy frame keeps weight down while maintaining a traditional 1911 control layout and feel.
Its 4-inch stainless steel barrel is bushing-supported and paired with a GI-style recoil spring plug. The slide features rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port, all finished in matte black to match the frame.
sights are set up for quick acquisition, with a red fiber-optic front and a low-profile, serrated ledge rear in a two-dot configuration. Both front and rear sights are dovetailed.
Controls include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory pad. The fire control group features a long, skeletonized trigger with lightening cuts and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer.
Textured gray/black G10-type grip panels provide a firm hold, and this pistol has a rubber wraparound front-strap cover with finger grooves installed. Capacity is 7+1, and it ships with two 7-round magazines. Manufactured in the USA and part of the RO Elite series, this compact 1911 adheres to a familiar single-action platform.
