Kimber Next Generation 1911 9mm - Full-Size 5 in. Stainless, Optics-Ready, Excellent Condition
This Kimber Next Generation 1911 stands out as a Government-size 9mm built on all-stainless construction with a satin silver finish and a match-grade, ramped barrel. The tri-top slide is optics-ready under a two-screw cover plate and wears a red fiber-optic front with a black U-notch rear. Made in Troy, Alabama, it retains excellent overall condition with a clean, mirror-bright bore and comes with two 9-round magazines and factory accessories.
The full-size stainless frame and slide present brushed flats and a matte serrated top rib for glare reduction. Markings include "TROY AL USA" on the right side of the slide, "NG 1911" on the dustcover, and "9MM" on the barrel hood. The pistol uses a Series 70-style firing system and a traditional short GI-length guide rod.
The 5-inch stainless barrel is bushing-fitted, ramped, and deep-crowned, with a flush fit to the bushing. Fire controls feature a skeletonized aluminum trigger with lightening cuts and a skeletonized rowel hammer. Safety features include a left-side thumb safety and a grip safety. The front strap and mainspring housing are checkered, and the bobtail frame contour pairs with Hardwood Grips.
The slide profile includes front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and an external extractor. The sights consist of a dovetailed red fiber-optic front and a black U-notch rear integrated into the removable cover plate. The optics-ready cut sits beneath this two-screw plate, and Kimber factory adapter plates are included.
