It has the pre-safety configuration with no cross-bolt safety, a solid-top receiver with right-side ejection, and a receiver top drilled and tapped with four holes. The bore is clean with well-defined rifling, and the hardwood stock shows the distinctive pressed checkering with oak-leaf and scroll panels.

The hardwood stock has a pistol-grip profile with pressed checkering and decorative oak-leaf and scroll panels. A checkered buttplate and a 13.38 in length of pull complete the handling geometry.
Sights include a ramped front sight with a brass-bead blade and no hood, paired with an open rear sight; the rear sight elevator is currently missing as noted. Two sling-swivel studs are installed for carry options.
