This Talon Armament TAC-GAR15 is a 5.56mm NATO AR-15 built in the USA and marked by Talon Armament Co., Kennesaw, Georgia. It features a 16" threaded barrel with an A2-style birdcage flash suppressor, a Talon-branded free-float slim aluminum handguard with a continuous top Picatinny rail, and a flat-top upper with forward assist, case deflector, and dust cover. It comes with one Magpul PMAG GEN M3 40-round magazine.

The receiver set is marked with TAC-GAR15 and CAL: MULTI on the lower and 5.56x45mm on the upper. Manufacturer markings read Talon Armament Co., Kennesaw, Georgia, USA. The rifle uses a direct impingement, semi-automatic operating system on the AR-15 platform with a matte black finish throughout. Selector markings are SAFE/FIRE.
The 16" barrel is threaded and capped with an A2-style birdcage flash suppressor. A Talon-branded, free-float slim-profile aluminum handguard runs a continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny rail and features lightening cuts.
The flat-top upper includes a forward assist, case deflector, and dust cover. No sights are installed, giving the user flexibility in choosing sighting options. The rifle accepts AR-15/STANAG pattern magazines.
Furniture includes a collapsible, 6-position polymer stock on a carbine-length receiver extension with castle nut and end plate, offering an approximate length of pull of 12–15 inches. An A2-style pistol grip completes the setup.
