This Knights Armament SR-15 E3 Mod 2 Carbine is a well-configured 5.56 NATO rifle featuring KAC's E3 round-lug bolt, a 16" hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with 1:7 twist, and fully ambidextrous controls. It comes outfitted with the KAC URX 4 free-float M-LOK handguard, KAC Micro folding sights, and the KAC 3-prong flash eliminator compatible with KAC QDC suppressors. The Mod 2 configuration delivers fully ambidextrous controls, including the magazine release, bolt catch/release, and safety, paired with a KAC ambidextrous charging handle. A two-stage match trigger contributes to a precise and consistent trigger press.
The KAC E3 round-lug bolt is a defining component of this platform. It is engineered for the SR-15 E3 system, complementing the direct impingement action and enhancing the rifle's overall performance characteristics.
The 16" hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel uses a 1:7 twist and is threaded to accept the included KAC 3-prong flash eliminator. This muzzle device is compatible with KAC QDC suppressors, providing a ready interface for that system.
The KAC URX 4 free-float M-LOK handguard features a full-length top rail and integral QD sling socket. Factory KAC Micro folding front and rear sights are installed, giving low-profile iron sights that align with the top rail.
Receivers are aluminum with a matte black finish, and the lower is marked SR-15 5.56mm with STONER RIFLE and the KAC logo. The rifle includes a collapsible polymer stock, a Magpul polymer pistol grip, and a 13.5" length of pull. Capacity is 30+1. Country of origin is USA.
