The Mohawk Brown finish pairs a marbled brown DuPont Zytel frame, stock, and handguard with blued steel components. Stock details include molded checkering, a white diamond inlay, white spacers at the forend cap and buttplate, and an inlaid Remington Nylon 66 medallion. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
The rifle uses a semi-automatic blowback action with right-side charging and ejection. It is built around a 19.5-inch steel barrel marked "Remington .22 L.R. ONLY," a blued steel bolt, and a sheet-steel receiver cover finished in matte blued/black.
The tubular magazine is housed in the buttstock and holds 14 rounds of .22 LR. Loading is through the buttplate port, keeping the lines of the rifle clean and balanced.
Sighting equipment consists of a ramped bead front and an adjustable rear open sight. The steel receiver cover is grooved with 3/8-inch rimfire scope grooves, offering a standard interface for rimfire optics if desired.
