Built on the magnum-length Mark V action from the Howa era, this rifle is marked "MARK V, U.S. PATENT NO. 3,013,355, South Gate, Calif. — Made in Japan" with "USE ONLY WEATHERBY 460 W.M." on the barrel. The H-prefix serial denotes Japanese production, aligning with the features and markings present on this example.
The 26-inch steel barrel is ported and crowned, and the rifle is configured without open sights. It uses an internal box magazine with a 2+1 capacity. The Mark V bolt features longitudinal flutes and gas-relief holes, paired to the polished blue/black metal finish.
Extensive custom embellishment sets this Lazermark apart: full scroll engraving covers the receiver, barrel exterior, bolt shroud, and the installed bases and rings. The floorplate is engraved with a raised gold-colored elephant head motif, complementing the deep polished finish.
The high-gloss walnut Monte Carlo stock features laser-carved oak-leaf panels, a rosewood fore-end tip, and a rosewood grip cap with metal inlay. Additional stock details include a ventilated recoil pad with spacer, sling swivel studs, and contrasting line spacers.
Engraved two-piece bases with matching engraved 1-inch rings are installed, providing a ready-to-mount platform for a 1-inch optic. There are no factory open sights on this rifle.
