This Nighthawk Custom Talon IV is a compact 1911 in .45 ACP built on forged steel with a Commander-length, 4.25-inch match-grade, bushing-fitted barrel. It features tritium 3-dot night sights with a Trijicon-marked front, aggressive texturing where it counts, and a clean, professional slide treatment. Factory benchrest test targets dated 11/09/2005 and 01/23/2006 accompany the pistol, along with the original Nighthawk soft case, manual, and two 7-round magazines.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There is light finish wear on the edges of the slide and the trigger guard. Minor signs of prior use are present. The bore is clean and shiny.

The Talon IV pairs a forged steel slide and frame with performance-focused 1911 features. The front strap is checkered and the flat mainspring housing is checkered to improve purchase. Controls include a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, a left-side thumb safety, a checkered magazine release, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, and a lightened three-hole trigger.
The Commander-length 4.25-inch match-grade barrel is bushing-fitted, and the pistol uses a traditional GI-style recoil system with a checkered plug. The ejection port is lowered and scalloped for consistent clearance, complementing the build's reliability-focused design.
Sight configuration is a tritium 3-dot system: a dovetailed Trijicon H3 09 tritium front blade and a low-mount two-dot tritium rear. The slide has rear cocking serrations, a serrated top to reduce glare, and serrations on the rear of the slide to keep the sight picture clean.
Factory paperwork includes benchrest test targets at 15 yards dated 11/09/2005 and 01/23/2006. Markings read Nighthawk Custom, Berryville, AR, USA. The package includes two 7-round magazines, and the pistol ships with the original Nighthawk soft case and manual.
