It is Glock-mag compatible and features a full ambidextrous control suite. The MkGs configuration is built around CMMG's radial delayed blowback operating system in 9mm Luger. It uses a Glock-pattern magwell compatible with double-stack 9mm magazines, supporting a 33+1 capacity with the included extended magazines.
The 5" barrel is threaded at the muzzle and comes with a compact multi-port device installed. A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard with a continuous 1913 top rail provides solid mounting space along the upper.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the selector, charging handle, and mirrored magazine releases with a right-side button and left-side lever. AR-pattern details include a forward assist, ejection-port cover, and brass deflector.
The pistol uses CMMG's FASTBACK brace tube with a sliding brace and hook-and-loop strap, and it carries patent No. 10,551,144 marking on the tube. It is finished in Coyote Tan over an aluminum alloy receiver set and includes a polymer pistol grip with CMMG branding.
