The G49’s crossover build delivers a G17-length slide and 4.49 in Glock Marksman Barrel on a G19-height frame. Chambered in 9mm Luger with a 15+1 capacity, it provides the longer sight radius and velocity of the full-size barrel while keeping the shorter grip profile.
The slide wears Glock’s durable nDLC finish and includes front and rear serrations plus a beveled nose. A factory MOS optic cut with cover plate allows the use of Glock MOS adapter plates, and adapter plate '02' is included.
The Gen5 polymer frame uses the Rough Texture Frame grip, ambidextrous slide-stop levers, a flared magwell, and the interchangeable backstrap system. The pistol uses Glock’s Safe Action system and a single-slot accessory rail molded into the dustcover.
Sights are the fixed polymer Glock set with a white-dot front and a white-outline square-notch rear. Markings include Austrian proof marks on the barrel hood, a Made in Austria Glock, Inc., Smyrna, GA marking, and a barrel lug marked with the Glock logo over "AT". Three 15-round magazines, the MOS plate '02', loader, and backstrap are included.
