The takedown configuration with its knurled adjustment ring allows the barrel/forend assembly to separate from the receiver/stock for easy transport and storage. This carbine uses Ruger’s interchangeable magazine-well system and is configured for Glock double-stack 9mm magazines; four Glock OEM magazines are included in 24-, 17-, and 15-round sizes.
The 16.12 in chrome-moly steel barrel is cold hammer-forged, fluted, and threaded 1/2x28 for muzzle device compatibility. A 1:10 RH twist supports common 9mm bullet weights. The bore condition is excellent with a clean, mirror finish.
A dead-blow, tungsten-weighted bolt and blowback action provide the PC Carbine’s rugged operating system. The charging handle and magazine release are reversible to accommodate user preference, adding flexibility for different shooters.
Sighting is handled by an adjustable ghost-ring rear and a protected post front. The aluminum-alloy receiver with hard-coat anodized finish integrates a receiver-top Picatinny rail for mounting optics. The black synthetic stock uses a spacer system for an adjustable length of pull and includes a rubber buttpad and textured panels; LOP is listed at 13.25 in. Receiver markings observed include "PC CARBINE" and "RUGER • NEWPORT • NH • USA".
