The 11.5 inch Daniel Defense barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and threaded, with a 1:7 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles. An open-prong flash hider is installed. The DD-marked bolt carrier and direct impingement, semiautomatic action contribute to reliable operation.
The Daniel Defense MFR 10.0 M-LOK handguard is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and provides a 10.58 inch rail for mounting compatible accessories. The handguard bears the US PAT. 7,716,865 marking. M-LOK rail cover panels are installed for grip and heat management.
Controls and furniture are thoughtfully upgraded: an ambidextrous safety selector, an ambidextrous charging handle with a large latch, and the Magpul MOE-K2+ pistol grip enhance handling. The receiver extension is KRATOS-marked, and an SB Tactical pistol stabilizing brace is installed.
