What's Included
- NEF Pardner 20 Gauge single-shot shotgun
The Pardner operates with a single-shot break action using a top tang latch and an external hammer, offering simple, direct controls. A transfer bar safety is incorporated for added security during handling and firing. Capacity is one round.
The steel barrel measures 25.5 inches and is a non-ribbed smoothbore with a fixed Modified choke. It is chambered for 3 inch 20 gauge shells, providing flexibility across common 20 gauge loadings within that chamber length.
Sighting is straightforward via a brass bead front sight with no rear sight. The one-piece hardwood stock features a semi-pistol-grip profile, smooth uncheckered surfaces, and an NEF logo hard buttplate. Length of pull is 14.0 inches, and the fore-end is a matching slim hardwood piece.
Construction is all-steel where it counts, with a color case-hardened receiver and a blued barrel. The receiver is marked "NEW ENGLAND FIREARMS" with manufacture in Gardner, Massachusetts and U.S. Patent No. 3,988,848. The barrel is marked "PARDNER MODEL 20 GA 3-inch MOD," and a circled P proof is present on the barrel.
