Winchester Model 70 Classic Sporter .30-06 Bolt-Action, 24 in Barrel, Controlled-Round-Feed, New Haven (1994–1995)
This Winchester Model 70 Classic Sporter in .30-06 combines the Classic-series controlled-round-feed action with a 24-inch sporter barrel and a cut-checkered walnut stock. Built by USRAC in New Haven in 1994–1995, it includes a jeweled bolt, a three-position wing safety, and a hinged floorplate magazine. This example is in very good overall condition with an excellent bore.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The exterior shows a few light handling marks and small surface blemishes. The bore is bright throughout.

The Classic-series controlled-round-feed action uses a non-rotating claw extractor for positive feeding and extraction. It is a right-hand bolt with a three-position wing safety. The rifle feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, and capacity is 5+1.
The 24-inch sporter-contour barrel features a recessed crown and no iron sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this rifle comes with two-piece cross-slot scope bases already installed.
The walnut stock has a Monte Carlo comb and cheekpiece, cut checkering, and a recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches, providing a comfortable fit and steady shoulder mount.
Metalwork is finished in blued steel, complemented by a jeweled bolt body. This is a USRAC New Haven production rifle from 1994–1995 with a G-prefix serial, representing the 1990s Classic Sporter configuration in .30-06 Springfield.
