The DDM4V7 is built on Type III hard-coat anodized aluminum receivers in matte black, with receiver markings showing MODEL DDM4 and the DDM4V7 designation. The upper is marked 5.56, and the rifle includes an ejection-port cover, forward assist, and brass deflector. Selector legends are SAFE/SEMI.
Its 16 in barrel is cold-hammer-forged with a government profile and uses a mid-length gas system for smooth cycling. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with the Daniel Defense Improved Flash Suppressor. The 1:7 twist rate supports a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectile weights.
The Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M free-float handguard provides M-LOK attachment slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, an integral QD sling socket, and a continuous T-marked Picatinny top rail. This setup offers solid mounting options while maintaining a slim, lightweight profile.
