Built by Miroku in Japan, it uses the Invector-Plus choke system and comes with Cylinder tubes installed in both barrels. The walnut stock has a neutral cast with a checkered pistol grip and beavertail forearm, and the gun retains matching serials on the receiver and forend iron.

The 30-inch steel barrels are ported and set under a ventilated rib with vented side ribs for consistent sighting and gas management. Both barrels are chambered for 2 3/4-inch shells, and a front bead provides a clear reference. The gun has a two-round capacity and a break-action over/under layout.
The satin-silver steel receiver shows factory scroll accents with gold "Ultra XS" lettering on both sides and an engraved top lever. Controls include a tang safety with barrel selector and a gold-colored single selective trigger.
The walnut stock features a checkered pistol grip, neutral cast, and a beavertail forearm, finished with a recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches, offering a straightforward, consistent mount.
This example was manufactured by Miroku (Japan) for Browning and is marked with NP 2 3/4 proof. The receiver and forend iron carry matching serials. Functional notes reported on this gun include a tight barrel fit, timed ejectors, and good firing pins. The top lever sits close to the 6 o'clock position, and the locking lugs will need service soon.
The Ultra XS uses the Invector-Plus choke system, and this shotgun currently has Cylinder tubes installed in both the top and bottom barrels. The combination of the ported 30-inch tubes, bead sight, and selective single trigger delivers a clean, predictable operation.
