The Patriot Walnut action is a right-hand, twin-lug, push-feed design with a spiral-fluted bolt body and a knurled bolt knob for confident cycling. The long-action .30-06 chambering offers 4+1 capacity via a detachable polymer box magazine. Factory two-piece Weaver-style scope bases are installed and paired with rings to support the included scope.
The 22-inch carbon-steel barrel is fluted, free-floating, and capped with a recessed crown. This sporter-contour barrel, matched with a 1:10 twist, is set up for dependable performance with a wide range of .30-06 loads. The barrel is rollmarked "MOSSBERG PATRIOT" and "NORTH HAVEN, CT, U.S.A."
The walnut stock features a straight comb with a raised cheekpiece and textured panels on the grip and forend for a steady hold. A Mossberg rubber recoil pad is fitted at the butt to help manage felt recoil. Sling swivel studs are installed for easy attachment of a carry sling or bipod.
