This Delta Elite follows the classic Government Model formula with a 5-inch barrel and a steel frame and slide. It is finished in satin dark gray and retains the period-correct Delta Elite and Colt Government Model rollmarks that define the first-generation guns.
The slide is configured with rear vertical cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. Sighting is straightforward with a staked ramp front sight and a fixed rear notch, consistent with the model’s original setup.
The fire control system is single-action, short-recoil, and Series 80, incorporating a firing-pin safety in addition to the manual thumb safety and grip safety. A Commander-style rowel hammer completes the classic 1911 control set.
Factory one-piece wraparound black rubber grips with Delta medallions provide a secure hold and the model’s distinctive look. Capacity is 9+1 rounds of 10mm Auto, supported by the two included 9-round magazines.
