The Performance Center Carry Comp system combines a ported 4.2-inch barrel with an integrated single-port compensator. The slide includes a large top window and side ports, plus chevron front and rear serrations for confident manipulation.
The M&P C.O.R.E. optics-ready slide arrives with the cover plate installed and is paired with tall iron sights: a high-visibility dot front blade and a plain rear notch. This setup provides flexibility for mounting compatible optics using the included S&W plate and screw kit.
The full-size aluminum-alloy Metal series frame delivers a solid foundation, while the stainless-steel slide wears a durable Armornite (nitride) finish. Controls include ambidextrous slide stops and a reversible magazine release. The pistol uses a flat-face trigger with a trigger safety and has no manual thumb safety.
Capacity is 21+1 with the extended magazines, and five additional 17-round factory steel magazines are included. Extended magazines come with grip sleeves for a seamless hold. A three-slot Picatinny accessory rail is molded into the frame for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
