The 28-inch Light Contour barrel is steel, vent-ribbed, and threaded internally for the RemChoke system. A Modified choke tube is installed, and the front bead provides a clear sight picture. The chamber is cut for 3-inch shells and also accepts 2 3/4-inch loads.
Operation is gas-operated and semi-automatic, using a pressure-compensating system derived from the 1100 family. A cross-bolt safety and a knurled magazine cap round out the controls, and the listed capacity is 2+1.
