Built on a 1911-based, double-stack platform, the P211 GTO is a recent-release, 2011-style design with a stainless steel receiver and Nitron finish on both frame and slide. The bull barrel measures 4.2 inches. Factory specs list overall length at approximately 8.5 inches, height about 5.25 inches, and unloaded weight around 45.9 ounces.
The tri-top slide features forward and rear serrations, a top lightening window, and a slide-integrated MACH3D compensator with top and side ports. It uses SIG's SIG-LOC PRO optics interface with multi-footprint compatibility. A fiber-optic front sight is installed; the rear sight is not installed and the optics cut is exposed.
Controls are single-action-only with an ambidextrous thumb safety, grip safety, and a firing-pin safety. The trigger is a skeletonized, flat-faced unit with an adjustable overtravel screw, paired with a skeletonized spur hammer for a crisp manual-of-arms.
The modular alloy grip includes a removable, flared aluminum magwell, textured G10 panels, and checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing. A full-length dustcover with a three-slot accessory rail provides mounting space for lights or other rail accessories.
The pistol accepts SIG P320-pattern steel double-stack magazines and ships with three 21-round mags (one shown with an extended basepad). Documentation includes a factory QC target dated 11/14/2025 at 15 m and a case label dated 17-NOV-2025, both matching the pistol.
