Weatherby Mark V Deluxe .300 Wby. Mag. Bolt-Action, 26 in Barrel, Howa/Japan Era
This Mark V Deluxe combines Weatherby's nine-lug magnum action and 26-inch barrel with the signature high-gloss walnut Monte Carlo stock and rosewood accents. Built during the 1972–1994 Howa/Japan production era, it bears the South Gate, Calif. rollmark and H-prefix serial. It is in very good condition with an excellent bore and comes with scope bases, rings, and a Weatherby Gun-Guard hard case.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The stock shows scattered scratches and blemishes. There is finish blemishing on the top of the receiver from scope mounts. Minor scratches and wear are present on the rifle's finish.

The Mark V magnum action uses nine locking lugs with a 54-degree bolt lift, delivering the short-lift, magnum-strength layout that defines the platform. It features a full-diameter fluted bolt with a large round knob and steel receiver.
Chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum, this rifle has a 26-inch barrel and a three-round internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate and in-guard release. Controls include a two-position safety.
The Deluxe trim showcases a high-gloss walnut Monte Carlo stock with cheekpiece, skip-line checkering, and rosewood forend tip and grip cap with white/maple diamond inlay and spacers. A ventilated Weatherby-marked recoil pad and sling swivel studs are installed. Length of pull is 13.25 inches.
Markings include "MADE IN JAPAN" and "U.S. PATENT NO. 3,013,355," along with the South Gate, Calif. rollmark. The H-prefix serial denotes Howa/Japan production within the 1972–1994 era.
The receiver is factory drilled and tapped. No sights are installed. The barrel features EDM-style muzzle porting (Mag-Na-Port style) near the crown.
