Built at Izhmash in Russia, this rifle retains key Russian identifiers including the Izhevsk triangle-with-arrow crest and receiver roll-marked "SAIGA 7.62x39." The left side of the receiver is marked "LEGION IZHEVSK RUSSIA" and "ARSENAL LAS VEGAS NV USA," reflecting its import lineage and providing clear provenance valued by Saiga enthusiasts.
The rifle has been converted to the familiar AK-pattern configuration, with a stamped AK receiver, riveted trunnions, ribbed top cover, and a standard long-stroke gas system with a 90-degree gas block. It uses a protected front post and AK tangent rear sight and features a left-side AK optic dovetail rail for mounting compatible optics.
The 16.3-inch barrel is paired with a front sight base that has 24x1.5 mm threads, and it is fitted with a two-chamber muzzle brake. The front sight base includes a detent to secure the device. The setup accepts detachable AK-pattern box magazines, and this example is rated for a 30+1 capacity in 7.62x39.
U.S.-marked polymer furniture provides durability and serves as compliance parts, while the fixed stock offers a 12.5-inch length of pull with a ribbed buttplate and a right-side rear sling swivel. The matte black receiver finish contrasts with the light gray polymer stock and handguards, giving the rifle a cohesive, service-ready appearance.
