What’s Included
- Marlin Golden 39A .22 LR lever-action rifle
The rifle features a 24 inch round Micro-Groove barrel with a factory 1:16 RH twist, combining a bright, mirror bore with sharp rifling. It is marked "MARLIN GOLDEN 39A" with gold-filled lettering and bears the JM barrel proof; the barrel address reads "The Marlin Firearms Co. New Haven, Conn., U.S.A." The pre–cross-bolt-safety pattern and lever-operated right-side ejection reflect the classic 39A design of the era.
Sighting is straightforward and practical with a hoodless ramped front bead and a semi-buckhorn rear sight with elevator. The full-length tubular magazine is configured for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle, with factory 24 inch Golden 39A tube capacities typically 26 (.22 Short) / 21 (.22 Long) / 19 (.22 LR).
The walnut furniture includes an uncheckered pistol-grip stock with a raised Monte Carlo comb and a matching walnut forend. Sling swivel studs are installed, and the butt is finished with a black Marlin buttplate and white-line spacer. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
The steel receiver and barrel wear a traditional blued finish, complemented by a gold-colored trigger. A large knurled, single receiver screw enables one-screw takedown, making transport and maintenance convenient while preserving the rifle’s classic lines.
