The MRD slide is optics-ready with an integral cut and cover plate, compatible with Shield RMSc and Holosun K footprints. Front and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation, and the slide is marked "REFLEX" for easy model identification.
Its cold hammer-forged 3.3 in barrel, polymer frame, and steel slide with black PVD-type finish deliver a durable, carryable build. The frame is marked "FN COLUMBIA, SC USA," and the barrel hood is marked "9x19."
This model uses a single-action, internal hammer–fired system with a 5.0 lb trigger, a trigger safety, and multiple passive safeties. It is a non-manual-safety configuration and disassembles without a trigger press. The push-button magazine release is on the left side.
Iron sights include an orange-ring front blade and a square-notch rear with two white dots. An accessory rail with a single cross-slot supports compatible rail-mounted accessories.
