Built on the proven 1911 platform, this single-action, short-recoil operated pistol uses a stainless steel frame and slide with a uniform matte stainless finish. It retains a Government-length 5-inch barrel and a GI-style short guide rod with a standard plug for traditional operation.
Sighting is straightforward and precise with a fixed front blade and a fully adjustable square-notch rear with two white dots. Controls include a thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety, alongside a skeletonized long three-hole trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
Reloads are aided by the add-on flared magazine-well funnel integrated with the mainspring housing, and the Pachmayr checkered rubber grips provide secure purchase. The pistol has rear vertical slide serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and a smooth frontstrap.
Capacity is single-stack 8+1, and this example ships with one 8-round magazine and two 7-round magazines. Markings include "S.A. .45 AUTO" on the barrel hood, a small "SS" stamp on the frame, and "FI BRAZIL," indicating Brazilian manufacture/association.
