This NLEOMF Fallen Officer Commemorative is a factory-engraved edition with meaningful iconography: the Protector Lion, a badge-and-rose motif with "Respect Honor Remember," and a memorial quote on the left side of the slide. It is an official Kroll International exclusive with availability noted through June 1, 2020, and each pistol in the program generated a $100 donation to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
The pistol follows the classic Government pattern with a 5-inch barrel, non-railed dust cover, and stainless-steel slide and frame in matte stainless. Ergonomics and control are enhanced by a checkered front strap and a flat, checkered mainspring housing, paired with checkered wood grips.
Sights are a 3-dot tritium night setup, with a dovetailed tritium front sight marked "MH3 AR" and a low-profile, dovetailed rear with two lamps. The slide uses rear cocking serrations only and a lowered/flared ejection port for consistent ejection.
Mechanically, it is a single-action-only 1911 with a skeletonized hammer and a long, skeletonized trigger with lightening cuts. Safety features include a thumb safety, a grip safety, and a firing pin safety. The barrel hood is marked ".45 AUTO," and capacity is 8+1 with the included magazines.
The pistol carries manufacturer part number L1911T-45-SSS-NLEOMF. The factory case label is dated 27-SEP-2019 and marked "First Responder Firearm – For First Responder Purchase ONLY," documenting its place within the program. Country of origin is the USA.
