Built on a D.C. Industries stamped receiver and marked by Century Arms in Georgia, VT, this GP1975 follows the AKM pattern with magazine well dimples, an AKM 45° gas block, and traditional sighting components. It is chambered in 7.62x39 and operates via a long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt.
The rifle uses a 16.25-inch barrel and AKM iron sights, with a tangent rear sight and a front post protected by ears. The cleaning rod hole is present under the barrel; a rod is not installed.
Furniture is black polymer throughout, including a fixed stock marked "USA," polymer handguards, and a black polymer pistol grip. The stock features a right-side sling loop and a metal buttplate, with a 13.0-inch length of pull.
A railed replacement receiver cover provides a Picatinny mounting surface; there is no left-side optics rail on the receiver. The rifle has a 30+1 capacity and includes five steel, ribbed surplus-style 30-round magazines.
