This Taurus PT 1911 is a full-size, Government-length .45 ACP with a stainless/silver finish over a steel frame and slide. It includes hallmark 1911 features such as a beavertail grip safety, a thumb safety, a skeletonized three-hole trigger, and a Commander-style hammer. Brazilian-made by Forjas Taurus and imported by Taurus International in Miami, it also features front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, checkered front strap and mainspring housing, and dovetailed 3-dot sights with a drift-adjustable rear. Offered as a gunsmith special and restoration project.

Specific Condition Notes: This pistol is offered as a gunsmith special and restoration project. It shows heavy rust throughout. The internal components are seized. The slide can be moved by hand, but the trigger, thumb safety, and magazine release do not function.
The PT 1911 follows the classic 1911 pattern with a single-action, semi-automatic system and a full-size 5 inch barrel and slide. The steel frame and slide wear a stainless/silver finish, with black checkered polymer/rubber grip panels that carry Taurus medallions.
Slide features include front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port for reliable ejection. The sights are dovetailed 3-dot units, with the rear drift-adjustable via a set screw to fine-tune point of impact.
Controls and ergonomics include an extended beavertail grip safety, a thumb safety, a skeletonized three-hole trigger, and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer. The front strap is checkered, and the mainspring housing is flat and checkered to enhance grip.
Markings and origin are consistent with Brazilian manufacture: Forjas Taurus S.A. - Made in Brazil, with import marks from Taurus International Mfg., Miami, FL.
