The Bootlegger Prohibition Edition showcases extensive, factory-applied laser engraving by Outlaw Ordnance. The receiver is marked with "BOOTLEGGER PROHIBITION EDITION" and "WHITE LIGHTNING 150 PROOF TENNESSEE'S MOONSHINE," the barrel is engraved "SPEAKEASY," and the walnut stock and foregrip display Prohibition-era scenes, "U.S. VOTED DRY JANUARY 16, 1919," "AL CAPONE SCARFACE," and scrollwork. The distressed Burnt Bronze Cerakote ties the metalwork together with a period-worn aesthetic while preserving modern durability.

Built on the semi-automatic 1927A-1 platform, this rifle uses a simple blowback, closed-bolt action with a top-mounted actuator and a manual safety. It is chambered in .45 ACP with a 1:16 RH twist. The 16.5 in finned barrel is fitted with a Cutts-style compensator, echoing the classic Thompson profile.

Sighting is via iron sights with the classic Thompson protective-ear housing: a pinned front blade and an open, adjustable rear. The fixed American walnut stock and vertical foregrip are laser-engraved to match the Prohibition theme. Length of pull is 17.0 in, overall length is 39 in, and weight is 12.5 lb.

This model accepts both Thompson stick and drum magazines and comes with a 50-round drum and a 20-round stick included. It is current Auto-Ordnance/Kahr production made in the USA; examples from this run have been observed with a KAP serial prefix.
