The Bodyguard 2.0 uses a striker-fired, locked-breech, recoil-operated tilting-barrel system in .380 ACP. Its micro footprint and stagger-stack magazines deliver 10- or 12-round capacity while keeping overall dimensions compact for discreet carry.
The stainless steel slide and barrel receive Smith & Wesson's black Armornite treatment, while the barrel is nitrided for durability. Front and rear cocking serrations plus over-the-top serrations aid manipulation. The polymer frame in black carries aggressive M2.0-style texturing for secure purchase.
Sights are dovetailed: a tritium front with high-visibility orange ring (marked TG-H3) pairs with a serrated black U-notch rear for a clean, snag-resistant sight picture. The included 10- and 12-round magazines provide both flush and extended options as needed.
Controls include low-profile, ambidextrous manual thumb safety levers and a reversible magazine release. Additional safety features are a trigger safety tab and an internal striker block. This pistol is marked as manufactured in Maryville, Tennessee, USA, and the frame's serial area includes a QR code.
