This Daniel Defense MK18 RIII short barrel rifle pairs a 10.3 in cold-hammer-forged CMV barrel with the 9.5 in RIS III free-float M-LOK handguard and a DD4 lower featuring fully ambidextrous controls. It comes with a factory three-prong Improved Flash Suppressor, the Daniel Defense GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle, and a Law Tactical folding-stock adapter installed. The rifle has a two-tone look with black receivers and an earth-tone RIS III handguard and includes its original factory case and a 32-round Daniel Defense magazine.

The MK18 RIII receiver set is marked correctly, with the lower noted as DD4 and the receiver marked "MK18 RIII." The upper is marked "5.56," and the forging mark "A" is visible. Forward assist, shell deflector, and dust cover are present.
The 10.3 in chrome-moly vanadium barrel is cold-hammer-forged with a government profile, a carbine-length gas system, and a 1:7 RH twist. It is threaded and fitted with the Daniel Defense Improved Flash Suppressor (three-prong).
The RIS III 9.5 in free-float handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum with M-LOK slots, a continuous top Picatinny rail with T-marks, and integral QD sling sockets. The rifle presents a two-tone aesthetic with black receivers and an earth-tone handguard.
The DD4 lower provides ambidextrous bolt catch/release and magazine release, paired with an ambidextrous safety selector and the GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle. A collapsible polymer stock with adjustable length of pull is installed, and a Law Tactical folding-stock adapter adds folding capability.
