The 107 Series Military-frame configuration gives this Victor the familiar 1911-style grip angle while retaining High Standard’s quick takedown and cross-compatibility of barrels within Military-frame models. Operation is semi-automatic, blowback, and single-action, with only the rear slide reciprocating; the barrel and rib/shroud remain fixed.
The 5.5 inch fixed heavy barrel is slab-sided and topped with a ventilated rib featuring lightening ports and gold-filled rollmarks. A removable factory under-barrel weight aids balance for precise target work.
Sighting is handled by a square-blade front and a micrometer-adjustable rear. Controls include a manual thumb safety, heel-type magazine release, and a gold-tone single-action trigger.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish and checkered walnut grip panels. Capacity is 10+1 in .22 LR, and this example includes four magazines, offering ample support for range or match use.
Made in the United States during the 1970s era, this Hamden-produced Victor brings together the hallmark features collectors and shooters associate with High Standard’s top-tier target models.
