    What’s Included

    • Colt Cobra First Model .38 Spl. revolver

Built in the United States during the early 1960s, this Cobra features the hallmark First Model configuration with an unshrouded ejector rod and lightweight D-frame construction. The aluminum-alloy frame is finished in black anodizing, paired with a blued steel 2-inch barrel and six-shot cylinder.

The revolver is chambered in .38 Special and uses a double-action/single-action system with an external spur hammer and a smooth curved trigger. Fixed sights include an integral ramped front and a square-notch groove in the topstrap for a straightforward sight picture.

Grip and handling details include a round-butt frame and checkered walnut stocks with silver Rampant Colt medallions. A serrated rib along the barrel aids control and sight alignment while maintaining the classic snubnose profile.

As the inaugural entry in Colt's snake lineup, the First Model Cobra is historically notable and was widely carried by plainclothes police. This example bears the "LW" suffix on the crane, aligning with its lightweight aluminum frame and First Model identifiers.
