The MAC 9 DS pairs a 4.25-inch Commander-length slide and barrel with a full-size, double-stack 1911 layout for 17+1 capacity in 9mm Luger. The barrel is bull, bushingless, and coned with a target crown, emphasizing lockup consistency and durability in a compact slide length.
Controls and ergonomics follow a single-action-only 1911 format with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety. A flat-faced trigger and a skeletonized rowel-style hammer complete the fire-control setup. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port, and it is optics cut to host the included red dot.
The steel frame wears a Tenifer QPQ finish in black and integrates a polymer grip module with aggressive texture plus a flared, removable magwell for confident handling and streamlined reloads. A green fiber-optic front sight offers a bright aiming reference.
