What’s Included
- Remington factory cardboard box (Model 870 Express Magpul DM, SKU 81352 label)
- Remington Model 870 DM owner's manual
- Two 5-round Remington 870 DM detachable box magazines (steel upper bodies with polymer overmold)

The 870 DM platform replaces the traditional 870 magazine tube loading with a detachable box‑magazine system and a dedicated receiver/magwell. A forward‑mounted magazine release lever provides quick, intuitive mag changes while retaining the robust pump‑action operation the 870 is known for.
This example is the Magpul configuration, outfitted with the Magpul SGA 870 stock and MOE M‑LOK forend. The SGA stock offers adjustable length of pull; as configured, it measures 13.5 inches, and a loose spacer is included for fit adjustment. The MOE forend provides a secure grasp and M‑LOK slots for accessory mounting.
The 18.5 inch barrel uses the Rem Choke pattern and is currently fitted with an extended ported breacher‑style choke. The barrel is threaded for choke changes and is chambered for 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch 12 gauge shells, offering broad load compatibility.
Sighting is handled by an XS steel blade front on a ramp and an XS ghost‑ring rear aperture mounted to the included receiver‑top Picatinny rail. The steel receiver has a matte finish, and controls include a cross‑bolt safety. Capacity is 5+1 with the included 5‑round magazines.
Receiver markings include the Model rollmark "Remington 870 DM," and the barrel carries "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY ILION, NY, 12GA. 2 3/4 inch OR 3 inch." This shotgun was produced in the 2010s by Remington Arms in the United States, before the company’s 2020 bankruptcy; the DM line has not reappeared under RemArms.
