Chambered in .30-30, this carbine uses a right-side loading gate feeding a full-length tubular magazine for a 5+1 capacity. The 20-inch round steel barrel and traditional carbine layout deliver the handling characteristics that define the Model 94.
The top-eject receiver is not drilled or tapped for optics and includes two factory plug screws on the left receiver wall for mounting a receiver/peep sight. Sighting is via a ramp front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with elevator.
Furniture consists of a straight-grip, uncheckered wood stock and a matching carbine forend secured by two barrel bands. A black checkered plastic buttplate and a 13.5-inch length of pull round out the classic carbine ergonomics.
Finished in blued steel with an exposed hammer and lever-action operation, this 1970s-era Model 94 was manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut, United States. It presents as a well-configured, factory-correct carbine from a desirable production period.
