Product Description

Winchester Model 94 Carbine Top Eject .30-30, 20-Inch, 1978 New Haven Production

This 1978 Winchester Model 94 Carbine is a classic top-eject .30-30 built in New Haven, Connecticut. It features a 20-inch round barrel, a full-length tubular magazine, and traditional carbine configuration with two barrel bands. The rifle retains its blued finish over steel with straight-grip wood furniture, and is set up with factory iron sights. The bore is excellent, making this a strong example of a late-1970s Winchester 94.

    What’s Included

    • Winchester Model 94 Carbine Top Eject .30-30 lever-action rifle

Chambered in .30-30, this carbine uses a right-side loading gate feeding a full-length tubular magazine for a 5+1 capacity. The 20-inch round steel barrel and traditional carbine layout deliver the handling characteristics that define the Model 94.

The top-eject receiver is not drilled or tapped for optics and includes two factory plug screws on the left receiver wall for mounting a receiver/peep sight. Sighting is via a ramp front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with elevator.

Furniture consists of a straight-grip, uncheckered wood stock and a matching carbine forend secured by two barrel bands. A black checkered plastic buttplate and a 13.5-inch length of pull round out the classic carbine ergonomics.

Finished in blued steel with an exposed hammer and lever-action operation, this 1970s-era Model 94 was manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut, United States. It presents as a well-configured, factory-correct carbine from a desirable production period.
