This 2011 Remington Model 700 short-action in .308 Win is set up for precision use with a 26-inch heavy, threaded barrel and Choate Machine & Tool's Ultimate Sniper synthetic stock. It comes outfitted with a Mueller Tactical 8.5–25x44 AO scope on a one-piece Picatinny rail, a Harris-style bipod mounted to the stock's T-rail, and a two-point sling. Clear markings include the Ilion, NY barrel rollmark and the stock's molded "THE ULTIMATE SNIPER – Designed By Maj. John Plaster" legend, with Remington's barrel date code "EF."

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

Built on the Remington 700 short action, this right-hand bolt rifle features a dual-lug bolt with plunger ejector and an internal 3+1 magazine. The receiver and bolt handle are a darker matte black, while the barrel and knurled thread protector are a lighter matte gray, and the rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester as marked on the barrel: "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC., ILION, NY .308 WIN."
The 26-inch heavy, non-fluted steel barrel is threaded and capped with a knurled thread protector. Its length and profile support stable, repeatable performance, and the matte finish reduces glare. The bore condition is excellent with sharp rifling.
Choate's Ultimate Sniper stock in OD green is installed and offers an adjustable cheekpiece, spacer-adjustable length of pull (14.0 inches as set), textured panels, a vertical grip, butt-hook, skeletonized butt, and ventilation slots. The angled/wedged fore-end and underside T-rail with a sliding accessory mount provide solid support options and flexible accessory placement.
Optics and support gear are already in place. A one-piece Picatinny scope rail with rings supports the Mueller Tactical 8.5–25x44 AO scope, delivering high-magnification capability with an adjustable objective. A Harris-style bipod attaches to the stock's T-rail adapter, and a two-point nylon sling is installed for carry. The stock bears the molded legend "THE ULTIMATE SNIPER – Designed By Maj. John Plaster," and the Remington barrel date code "EF" indicates 2011 production.
