The 4 inch stainless-steel barrel is configured with a full underlug, an ejector-rod shroud, and top rib serrations. Sighting is handled by a ramped, replaceable front blade and a fully adjustable rear sight, giving the shooter a clear, tunable sight picture.
The GP100’s triple-locking cylinder and stainless-steel construction provide a solid lockup and consistent alignment. Capacity is six rounds of .357 Magnum, with compatibility for .38 Special as inherent to the chambering.
This revolver uses a double-action/single-action mechanism with a smooth-faced trigger and an exposed, checkered-spur hammer. A transfer-bar safety is included. Ruger’s modular fire-control assembly is removable as a unit, simplifying maintenance and service.
