The DDM4 V7 is chambered in 5.56mm NATO on the AR-15 platform and uses a semi-automatic, direct impingement system. It features a 16-inch barrel paired with a mid-length gas system and a threaded muzzle capped with a three-prong flash hider.
Its Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M M-LOK free-float handguard is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and provides a continuous T-marked 1913 Picatinny top rail. The handguard provides QD mounting locations, and an add-on M-LOK QD sling cup is installed. A short accessory rail section is installed behind the grip, while the polymer vertical foregrip itself is M-LOK mounted directly to the handguard.
The rifle includes a forward assist and an ejection-port dust cover. Furniture consists of an adjustable stock with rubberized panels and a textured polymer pistol grip with rubberized panels. The receivers, handguard, and furniture share a consistent earth-tone/brown finish.
